Class overview

“Tuning Rhythm”, Gardenia’s FY1 program, is designed for children aged 4 to 4.11 years, a stage of rapid cognitive and emotional expansion. Here, we deepen curiosity through theme-based learning, creative problem-solving, and early academic exploration. Children engage in projects around real-world topics — from animals to outer space — sparking connections between concepts and experiences. Activities include science experiments, dramatization, music, collaborative tasks, and reflective discussions. Emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership are gently fostered. With the perfect balance of structure and spontaneity, FY1 helps children begin to think for themselves — confidently, creatively, and compassionately.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Untitled design (1)

What subjects are introduced in FY1?

We introduce foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, science, art, and geography — all through interactive, play-based formats.

How is theme-based learning different?

Children don’t learn isolated facts — instead, they explore big ideas through connected activities. For example, a “Rain” theme could include counting raindrops, reading cloud stories, and dancing to water songs.

How do you assess progress in FY1?

Through continuous observation and portfolio assessments. We track social, cognitive, and emotional growth — not just academic milestones.
